About Us

Our goal is to help the youth start out with good credit and teach the skills for maintaining it. How do we do this?

We sponsor financial literacy classes with young adults 18+ for the duration of an academic semester.

In the first month, each student opens a savings account at a local bank.  TGreen provides a stipend – deposited into the account – of $24 a week for students who report to class on time on a weekly basis and achieve a minimum passing grade.

The students apply for and receive a loan from a local bank for $300.  The issuing bank reports activity to the major consumer credit reporting bureaus.

At the end of the year, students graduate understanding the power of money and the power of a good credit rating.
